Texas Gov’t Code Ann. §406.024 sets out the maximum fees a Notary Public may charge for notary public services.

DFW Mobile Notary Service charges the following fees:

Taking acknowledgments or proofs:
For the first signature: $6.00
Each additional signature: $1.00
Administering an oath or affirmation $6.00
Swearing a witness for a deposition $6.00
Taking a deposition for a witness $.50 per 100 words
Certifying a photocopy $6.00
Providing an uncertified copy from an entry to a notary public's record book .50 per page

Mobile Fees – Traveling Fees Apply. Travel fees are not specified in the law. Such fees are proper only if the notary and signer(s) agree beforehand on the amount to be charged. The signer must understand that a travel fee is neither required nor specified in the law and is separate from the notarial fees described herein. Travel fees range from $35.00 and up depending on distance traveled. Travel fees will always be discussed prior to departure for your requested service.

Additional Mobile Fee Information.
Though not specifically mentioning notaries as state officers in the statute, Texas law requires 'state officers' to bill clients for all expenses. Therefore we will always prepare a detailed bill for any services we perform as a notary public. We will discuss our fees with you our signer before performing the notarial act to avoid confusion or conflict afterward. We will always provide a written receipt for fees charged, completely separating any non-notary business fees such as travel expenses from the actual notary fees charged.

Due and Payable Upon Receipt.
ALL fees are due and payable on completion of services rendered at which time an invoice will be issued. Escrow or loan cancellations have no bearing on the payment of fees. We accept only Cash, MasterCard and Visa. Payment arrangements must be made in advance of services at time of scheduling.

5:01 p.m. – 9:59 p.m. = $50.00 plus $6.00 per notarization
10:00 p.m. – 11:59 p.m. = $75.00 plus $6.00 per notarization
12:00 a.m. – 7:59 a.m. = $100.00 plus $6.00 per notarization

Weekends & Holidays – Saturday & Sunday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. = $50.00 plus $6.00 per notarization
5:01 p.m. – 9:59 p.m. = $75.00 plus $6.00 per notarization
10:00 p.m. – 11:59 p.m. = $75.00 plus $6.00 per notarization
12:00 a.m. – 7:59 a.m. = $100.00 plus $6.00 per notarization

Flat Rates with Appointment.
Medical Doctors within Dallas & Tarrant Counties – 8a.m. – 5p.m. - $65.00
(Medical Records/Business Records Affidavits - No $6.00 charges- with appointment)

Attorneys within Dallas & Tarrant – 8a.m. – 5p.m. - $65.00
(Medical Records/Business Records Affidavits - No $6.00 charges – with appointment)

Businesses within Dallas & Tarrant – 8a.m. – 5p.m. - $65.00
(Affidavits, Immigration Forms, etc. - No $6.00 charges – with appointment)

Upon request we will negotiate a Flat Rate specific to your needs

Extras:
Witness cost 8a.m. – 5p.m. (seven days a week) - $25.00 per witness
Witness cost all other times – 50% of mobile fee
Wait Fees: Wait fees are charges at double the mobile fee per hour
(Example if the mobile fee is $35.00 then the wait fee is $70.00 per hour after the first 15 minutes)
Next County Fuel Surcharge– $25.00
Mileage cost: .50 per mile driven (port to port)
Loan closings cost: flat rate of $125.00 plus mobile fee
advance cancellation two (2) hours or more - No Charge
advance cancellation less than (2) hours 100% of mobile fee
Cancellation upon notary arrival 100% of mobile fee
Testify at Court cost: 8am -12:00pm = $250.00 1:00p.m. – 5:00 p.m. = $250.00
Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested – under 3 oz - $10.00
Copies - $0.20 per page
Faxes - $0.50 per page
